Happy Monday guys! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend and enjoyed Mothering Sunday!
It was a double celebration for us as my little (well i say little he is actually about 5 feet taller than me - or so it feels) brothers birthday fell on the same day! We had a lovely meal hosted by our beautiful Mother, and enough cake and desert to last a lifetime! (not a real lifetime - i will definitely be eating cake again soon but you know what i mean)
Now back to today, i am writing this post whilst my little Remy is snuggled on the sofa watching Curious George on repeat, getting up every once in a while to play with the small selection of toys on the (very battered, as you will see from the photos - kids huh) coffee table. He is home from school, again, poorly. I don't know about you but i feel like we have had our fair share of coughs, colds, high temperatures and sickness bugs these last few weeks to last the year (and yes i actually mean the year this time!). keeping them entertained at home all day whilst they are up and down on medicine can be a challenge, but i 'almost' feel like a pro now so i thought id share a few tips through photos to the Motherhood.
- Selection of train tracks (with trains hidden in there somewhere www.ikea.com ), construction set, alphabet puzzle, stack of Miffy books, hand knitted bunny rabbit (by my Mum) and his Favourite blanket.
- Bunny Rabbit and alphabet puzzle
- Alphabet puzzle again - May as well get some fun learning in!
- Our whole stack of Miffy books with his bunny and blanket (dwell baby)
- Miffy books ( www.thebookpeople.co.uk )
- More Miffy books
- Wooden construction play set ( www.gltc.co.uk )
If any of you have any other tips I'd love to hear them!
Have a great day
XO Lo
