Mummy and me time

Well hello stranger! Apologies for the lack of posts over the last few weeks... my mind has been very much distracted! I don't know about any of you but we seem to have had every bug going these last few weeks! yeesh! one thing after another! I have at least managed to spend some really good quality family time with my two beauts though. And individually too which is rare! I look at them changing everyday and wonder how time seems to be flying by so quickly!

Here are some photos of our last few weeks, mother and son time.

This little love never seems to leave my side at the moment. Following me from room to room never distracted from his imagination.

A beautiful day spent with Jack... and it even felt like spring was in the air!

My Mother kindly treated us to a lovely day out at a nature reserve with lots of animals.. only half the animals were in hibernation! We enjoyed walking round looking round the empty cages anyway - Hay, we make our own fun in life!

As spring is just round the corner we decided to brighten up our home with these seriously cute indoor potted plants. We spent time choosing which baby plant would be coming home with us and they fit right in!

On a serious Motherhood note:

On Saturday i spent the entire day one on one with my Jack, my beautiful eldest lad (and i say lad because that is exactly what he is!)  and it was truly wonderful. When i had Remy a few thoughts crossed my mind a lot of the time - would i have enough love to give to two children? Would the second take up all of my attention? Would the first child see the second as a threat? i didn't have the answers to these questions then.. but i do now. Hard work, love and attention. There is nothing i love more now than to watch them play together, protect each other and love each other in the way they do. Of course they fight, all siblings do (unless you are either seriously lucky or have a secret parenting trick which you absolutely must share with the motherhood!) but to watch them huddled together in bed at the end of the day waiting for a story Jack with his arm around Remy makes my heart swell. That bond between them is everything to me.

XO Lo
