Our Bathroom Adjustments and a little Art

We have spent the last few days changing and rearranging our family bathroom space. I feel as though i do that quite a lot around here - rearranging furniture and replacing "stuff" all over the house. I've come to learn that a growing family is ever changing (almost daily!) and our surroundings have to keep up and match these changes. A space which works for us one month, week, day, may not work at all the next! so a change in arrangements are made... sometimes big noticeable changes, sometimes little subtle changes... Which ever way the family grows, our home evolves too.

With a house full of boys you can never have enough soap or nail brushes! These are great treasures i picked up this weekend, and smell heavenly!

Extra shelving and hooks provides much needed storage and hanging space, and baskets keep everything neat and tidy. A little artwork on the wall looks beautiful against the white backdrop.

More storage! This linen cabinet was found in parents-in-law to be's house!

This is great... every family bathrooms needs a bench... used for towel storage too! I've sat on this bench for hours watching the children splash about in the bath, comforting them on here when they feel poorly, wrapping a child completely in a towel and sitting them on here so they can't run away!
It gets used a lot!

Ahhh, laundry baskets. They fill up on a daily basis and its a constant race to keep them from over flowing. But two means colours can be separated easily which makes my job easier! The handles mean i can pick them up and carry to the machine with ease. I painted these myself to give them a quick update.

Now to something i am so excited to share...

This is the beautiful art hanging in our bathroom. This fabulous piece was created for us by the super talented David Garrett.
